A reference server built as a complete electrical system

The Innuos NAZARÉ is the company’s flagship music streamer and server. Rather than concentrating every function on a conventional motherboard, it uses a customized PreciseAudio platform with dedicated PreciseUSB and PreciseNET boards connected directly to the processor. Those boards have independent clocks and power rails, reducing their dependence on the noisy, shared interfaces found in general-purpose computers.

Processing comes from ten performance cores, providing headroom for Innuos AudioCore operation and large music libraries. Internal solid-state storage is available up to 16TB. Two USB 3.2 ports handle imports, backups and storage, while a dedicated PreciseUSB connection serves a DAC or the matching NazaréFLOW output stage. PreciseNET provides the wired network interface. Compatible playback reaches PCM 32-bit/768kHz, DSD256 through DoP and native DSD512.

Power architecture is unusually extensive. Innuos combines custom multifilar transformers, Lundahl inductors, GaN-ARC8 active-rectifier modules and DC4 regulation developed with Dr. Sean Jacobs. Each GaN-ARC8 module carries 376,000µF of capacitance, and the system total reaches 752,000µF. Separate low-noise rails feed the critical processing, network and output areas.

The 42kg aluminum chassis uses an asymmetric form, SmartStack vibration control developed with TONEO and IsoAcoustics support. Its ceramic coating is chosen for durability without turning the enclosure into a glossy fingerprint registry. Sense integrates local files, NAS libraries, supported streaming services, radio and podcasts, while optional Roon and HQPlayer modes extend system choices.

Command Performance AV can demonstrate NAZARÉ alone and as part of the three-piece stack with NazaréNET and NazaréFLOW. At this level, storage, backup, DAC interface, network architecture and physical support should be designed together; the server is the start of the conversation, not the whole sentence.
