Pure Class A power, transformed

Antileon Revelation advances Gryphon’s long-running Class A amplifier line with greater current reserve, refined circuit architecture and resonance-controlled construction. It is offered in stereo and monoblock configurations.

Each stereo chassis combines 40 high-current output transistors, 335,000 µF of capacitance per channel and two custom 1,500 VA transformers. The result is continuous power and control for difficult loudspeaker loads without sacrificing fine texture or resolution.

Revelation is built as a true dual-mono amplifier, with the two channels given independent power resources inside the stereo chassis. A fully balanced input and voltage-amplifier stage feeds an output section with no global negative feedback. Gryphon also isolates the transformers in shielded, epoxy-damped housings and uses constrained-layer damping throughout the enclosure to keep mechanical energy away from sensitive circuitry.

Despite its scale, the Gryphon Antileon Revelation is designed for practical system integration. Green Bias can adjust Class A operation automatically when paired with compatible Gryphon components, while manual low, medium and high settings remain available. A soft-start circuit moderates demand on household power at switch-on, and a non-invasive protection system monitors operation without sitting directly in the signal path.
